Series overview

The second-generation series of Musical The Prince of Tennis, which ran from 2010 to 2014. Building upon the fervor of the 1st Season, the production updated its stage direction and set designs for a more modern appeal. It once again completely adapted the original manga's storyline from the very beginning—starting with Seigaku vs. Fudomine—all the way to the national tournament finals in Seigaku vs. Rikkai. This season further solidified the established cast-rotation system, launching the careers of many young stars who would later achieve major success in film and television, such as Yuta Koseki and Jun Shison. In addition to the main performances, it featured an expanded lineup of live events, including school-focused concerts like the SEIGAKU Farewell Party, cementing the franchise's unshakeable status.
