Based on Kazuya Minekura’s Saiyuki Gaiden manga, this prequel follows Konzen Douji, Goku, Kenren Taisho and Tenpou Gensui before the journey of Sanzo’s party. Presented as episode zero of Saiyuki, it brought the stage series that began in 2008 to its conclusion.
